Introduction

Hello, my name is Michael Ibarra, and I am an undergraduate at Eastern Washington University. I am currently pursuing an internship with the City of Cheney on behalf of the History Department.

I have set up this blog in conjunction with the City of Cheney, Washington as well as the Eastern Washington University History Department.

Here shall be presented the Sterling-Moorman House, one of the oldest Pioneer Houses in the Eastern Washington Region. The city of Cheney is currently in the process of applying to place the house on the Historic Registry, and I will be promoting the house, making all the information on available such as history, and genealogy of the owners, as well as getting in touch with the descendants of the Sterling and Moorman Families that owned the house originally.
